This week our Moho Featured Artist is the talented freelance animator Mirkolee from Lunime team 🔥  Moho is her 2D animation software when animating avatars for Gacha video games from Lunime with over 100 million downloads! ✨ 

Tell us about yourself

I am Froggi_Nastya, also known as Mirkolee, a well-known staff member in the Lunime team. We contribute to tasks such as creating unique slots for games like Gacha Life, testing beta versions, and marketing on social media. I've been a big fan of gacha life since I was a kid. It gives you a simple interface to create your own unique chibi character. My main dream has always been to become a famous animator, and collect millions of views. But at the same time, I didn't want to draw millions of frames by hand for frame-by-frame animation. When I was only 12 years old, I learned about the existence of the program "MOHO". It was exactly what I needed!
With this program I was able to create rigs with my gacha life characters while learning Moho animation. I started posting my work on Tik tok and YouTube and gradually got a lot of likes, subscribers and sponsors :). Later I was invited to join the Lunime community of staff participants, where I found a lot of inspiration and useful acquaintances and new inspiration.

Where do you get inspiration?

For my Gacha animations, I draw inspiration from the projects of the Cartoon Network animation studio, the professional studio animation always inspires to achieve great results. I am also inspired by the creative works of Cut Cat, a blogger who also animates in Moho. His online animations, including videos about Gacha Life in Moho, have become an endless source of ideas and motivation for me. In this blend of creativity and technical prowess, I find inspiration for my own projects.

What do you like best about Moho?

Moho's intuitive interface and the captivating animation process with rigs captivated me from the start. I'm also very pleased with the number of tools and constraints for fast and high-quality rigging in Moho. Only Moho makes it possible to make high-quality animations so quickly. The abundance of informative rigging tutorials on platforms like YouTube, particularly from Evgeny Borsch, facilitated my learning journey.

Can you tell us about what a Gacha video game is and how Moho is involved in it?

Gacha video games, like Gacha Life and Gacha Club, enable users, especially children, to create diverse character designs. Moho plays a crucial role in the animation process, contributing to the creation of animated content for these games. Some of the star gachers are animating entire major online series like "The Music Freaks" in Moho. Most gacha animators use moho to create their animated content. I'm currently creating entertainment content to popularize the game.

What’s your favorite project made with Moho?

I'm currently working on an animated gacha project about a girl awakening in the distant future, unaware that she lives among robots. This project holds a special place for me, showcasing the potential of Moho in bringing creative ideas to life. However, I also have my favorite TikTok videos that I've made:
