How's it going? I'm McCoy Buck.
I work in Moho across rigging, animation, and direction, building character rigs that are easy to use, fast to animate with, and stay consistent as projects move forward. As an animator myself, my main goal when rigging is to build the rig so the animation comes first. Everything is designed to support the shot and the story, not slow it down.
On a recent 10 episode, dialogue driven project, I designed and built 19 rigs and supported the work from rigging through animation and direction. The rigs were built to be modular and reusable across episodes, which helped keep animation moving and avoided rebuilds. I also handled troubleshooting during production and helped recover time when things slipped, including bringing an episode that was 5 days behind back on schedule over a weekend.
Alongside production work, I help teams get up to speed in Moho through demos and training. I created the official tutorials for Moho Pro 13, have been a guest speaker for Moho, and am a co author of The Animator’s Blueprint: The Beginner’s Guide to Mastering Moho. Whether it’s walking a team through the software or supporting a project directly, my goal is the same. I make Moho clear, practical, and ready to use in production.
If you’re looking to bring Moho into your pipeline or need support on a project, send over the details and I’ll help you get started.
